GO GREEN FOR ECOMARINES
HOST YOUR OWN DRESS UP DAY!
Pick a date to be a non-uniform, free dress day. Students can dress in green, blue, as a marine creature, eco-superhero, animal onesie, and/or green hair, to celebrate the environment for a gold coin donation.
Ambassadors make an announcement at assembly and include it in your e-newsletter to promote the day and explain how it works and what you are raising money for (EcoMarines, another environmental charity, or a project in your school).
If you would like to play a movie during lunch or break time, we can provide the 20 minute documentary "A Plastic Ocean" if you want to borrow it (rated PG). Trailer below. Please also include an EcoMarines video.
If you want to take things to the next level, you could do what Everton Park State School did (haha)
GO GREEN FOR ECOMARINES WEEK!
Why not join in our Go Green for EcoMarines Week from the 7th to the 13th of September! This week is celebration of all things EcoMarines. You will be joining other schools as we get together to dress up in green and share the message of conservation and community!
HOW IT WORKS
Pick a date during this week to host your Go Green for EcoMarines dress up day! For this day, your whole school can dress up in green!
Each student can bring in a gold coin donation to be put towards EcoMarines foundation or your own school's eco-projects. But, if your school prefers not to collect coin donations, ask your teachers if you can share the EcoMarines donation link to parents and families:
Promote the day in your school and/or include it in your e-newsletter!
Take photos on the day of your sea of green! We would love to see what your school got up to so don't forget to email us or tag us on social media!
