STEP 1 - VIDEOS AND MUSIC!
Angel is an EcoMarines Ambassador and wrote this speech all by herself! We were so impressed we recorded her to make this video.
Learn about 'floating syndrome' and why plastic is so dangerous when it is eaten by sea turtles.
This is the 2 minute trailer for "A Plastic Ocean" documentary. It shows why our work is so important!
This video explains how different products are separated and recycled after they get picked up by the recycling truck.
STEP 2 - OUR ENVIRONMENT!
We want you to learn about different water habitats where animals live. All these habitats are related and interconnected. For example, a sea turtle feeds in the seagrass and coral reef and open ocean habitats, migrates across the open ocean, and breeds on sand beaches! All these habitats are important to protect and keep clean and healthy.
Please read about each habitat below and answer the questions on each page. We've picked a special 'spotlight animal' for you to learn about in each habitat.
In each habitat we've included some Quandamooka words in blue for you to learn.
For example Yura means Hello!
OPTIONAL - EXTRA INFORMATION
